2011 Spelling Bee Champion Makes It to National Semifinals

Sixth-grader Surabhi Iyer of Franklin, winner of the Comcast South Shore Spelling Bee held in Randolph in March, has advanced to the semifinals of the Scripps National Spelling Bee, which will air live from Washington at 10 a.m. Thursday on ESPN.
